​Wigton Baths Trust is committed to providing an environment in which all children and adults participating in its activities have a safe and positive experience.

We follow Swim England’s Wavepower document.

It is the policy of Wigton Baths Trust that all staff, employed or volunteer, at the Baths who have contact with children and/or vulnerable adults hold an enhanced DBS certificate. This includes our pool manager, duty managers, lifeguards, swim teachers and instructors. This policy also applies to adult volunteers in the Swim Club.

It is the policy of Wigton Baths Trust that all staff, employed or volunteer, at the Baths who have contact with children and/or vulnerable adults have undertaken the appropriate training and adhere to the required practices for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
